This product contains a Bacillus strain that adds a novel, stable, spore-forming bacteria to BCT-FGM RF. The manufacturer of this product is a leader in the isolation and selection of novel microbial consortia that degrade recalcitrant organics such as grease. BCT-FGM RF is the result of their ability to identify novel strains and their expertise in developing effective and stable microbial blends that enhance the overall degradation of waste organics. BCT-FGM RF is recommended for use in most meat, poultry, dairy, bakery, and vegetable and plant oil processing operations. Wide applicability is possible due to the fundamental similarities between animal and plant fats and oils, and the inherent degradability of animal and plant proteins and carbohydrates. The introduction of BCT-FGM RF into a microbial blend that also performs well on proteins and carbohydrates delivers a superb biological consortium for food processing wastewater.
BCT-FOGS
BCT-FOGS represents an advanced, unique biological treatment for fats, oils, greases (FOG) and odors in collection system pump stations and adjacent sewer lines. The introduction of BCT-FOGS into a microbial blend that also performs well on proteins, lipids and carbohydrates delivers a superior biological consortium for FOG and odors in collection system pump stations and adjacent sewer lines that are characterized by infrequent pumping and long detention times.
BCT-GLGC
BCT-GLGC contains bacteria and enzymes specifically adapted to liquefy fats, greases, olefins, and vegetable oils suspended in wastewater. The product will work effectively in restaurant grease traps, scum pits, and lift stations. The bacteria produce prodigious amounts of lipase enzymes to penetrate and liquefy insoluble oils and fats. The product works under aerobic and anoxic conditions. The product contains no caustics or acids, and will not harm pipes or wastewater equipment.
BCT-GLGC ZX
BCT-GLGC ZX is a broad blend of carbonaceous bacteria contained in BCT-GLGC plus thiobacillus cultures. The thiobacillus cultures use sulfides, including H2S, as the energy source for their metabolism. It also contains bacterial and enzymes specifically adapted to liquefy fats, greases, olefins, and vegetable oils suspended in wastewater. In wastewater environments, the product converts sulfide compounds to elemental sulfur. The product is used to reduce toxicity caused by sulfides or for use in odor-reducing programs. This product will work in low pH and low oxygen environments. It also works effectively in restaurant grease traps, scum pits, and lift stations. The bacteria produce prodigious amounts of lipase enzymes to penetrate and liquefy insoluble oils and fats. The products work under aerobic and anoxic conditions. The product contains no caustics or acids and will not harm pipes or wastewater equipment.
BCT-HSC
BCT-HSC is specifically designed for upset recovery and wastewater management in municipal wastewater environments. BCT-HSC specialized consortium of selectively adapted bacteria combines multiple strain capabilities into a single synergistic blend that addresses a number of applications in municipal wastewater management. BCT-HSC can improve operational efficiency by allowing rapid build-up of biomass during plant hydraulic wash-outs and during seasonal hydraulic peak loadings and by reducing the severity and frequency of plant upsets.
BCT-LNS
BCT-LNS is a liquid blend of the nitrifying strains Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter. The product is applicable to aerobic treatment systems and has successfully established nitrification in activated sludge, lagoon and retrofitted physical/chemical unit processes in municipalities, landfills, steel plants, refineries, food processors/renderers, chemical producers and Superfund sites. Successful applications normally include a review of solids retention time, dissolved oxygen, pH, carbonate-alkalinity, effluent BOD and the potential impact of inhibitory substrates. Where nitrification is inhibited by the presence of degradable BOD or inhibitory organics, programs targeted towards reducing the organics below inhibitory thresholds are normally recommended prior to or in combination with BCT-LNS addition.
BCT-MCC
A powerful microbial consortium which reduces organic matter, BCT-MCC is a consortium of over 560 billion hydrocarbon digesting microbes per ounce contained in a bentonite clay carrier. It may be used to attack any petroleum based liquids (i.e. gasoline, fuel oil, hydrocarbon solvents, organic wastes) and virtually any hydrocarbon or oxygenated hydrocarbon. As in all microbial products, water and oxygen must be present to allow the microbes to break down oils into carbon dioxide, water, and soluble fatty acids.
BCT-OX™
BCT-OX™ is a proprietary chemical/microbial blend that represents an advanced treatment for fats, oils, greases (FOG) and odors in collection system pump stations and adjacent sewer lines. The introduction of BCT-OX™ also performs well on proteins, lipids and carbohydrates delivering a superior biological grouping for FOG and odors in collection system pump stations and adjacent sewer lines that are characterized by infrequent pumping and long detention times. BCT-OX™ will also reduce the risk of, or even prevent the generation of sulfide in a sewer system by effectively helping to maintain “aerobic” type conditions in the sewage. (Reduced sulfides = reduced odor & reduced risk of sewer corrosion, etc.). Additionally easily-degraded organic matter is consumed, that otherwise can cause anaerobic conditions downstream as well as odor emissions itself. The concept is also applicable for surplus sludge treatment.
