Management
Kathleen Renzi
President/CEO
Kathleen Renzi founded BioConversion, Inc. in 2000 and leads the company as CEO and marketing director, as well as providing her skill and experience in lab analysis, microscopic examinations, and deploying solutions for wastewater treatment plant optimization.
Kathleen continues to build BioConversion’s standing as a leading wastewater solutions provider in the southeast and has earned the company a certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise from the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.
Kathleen is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and the Georgia Water and Wastewater Institute.
Edward Renzi
Vice President/CFO
Husband to Kathleen Renzi, Edward joined BioConversion, Inc. in July of 2010 as Chief Financial Officer. He brings with him 35 years of sales and marketing knowledge and will be primarily responsible for corporate administrative functions as well as sales and marketing interface.
Prior to joining BioConversion, he was Director of National Sales for Orr Corporation out of Louisville, KY. Edward directed 25 national sales representatives who produced annual revenues in excess of $55 mil. from 1995 to 2010.
Prior to Orr Corporation, he worked for Motorola Communications and Electronics as Major Account Sales Manager. He managed 15 account managers in 9 southern states accounting for 25% of Motorola C&E’s annual revenue. 1985 – 1995.
Prior to Motorola, he was Business Management Manager for Lincoln Mercury Division of Ford Motor Company. Responsible for dealer development, dealer installation and dealer termination. 1972 – 1985.
Edward has graduated from the University of Florida with both a BS and an MBA.

Adam Renzi
Environmental Specialist
Son of Kathleen and Edward Renzi, Adam joined BioConversion Inc. in January 2010.
Adam reaches out to establish and maintain client relationships with major municipalities and corporations. He provides BCT clients with System Troubleshooting and Optimization, Application Qualification and Treatment follow up.
Adam has received certifications from SNF Polymers, Georgia Rural Water Association and the West Virginia Microscopic Training Center. He is a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a BS in Communications/PR.
Johnny Adamson
Environmental Specialist
Johnny joined BioConversion, Inc. in August 2010 with 25 years industrial wastewater experience as an analyst and trainer and holds a BS in chemistry from Berry College. He holds a State of Georgia Class I Wastewater Treatment Operators license and is registered with the state as a Wastewater Laboratory Analyst.
Johnny’s last assignment was as Senior Project Scientist for AES where he was involved in design and operation of industrial treatment systems, developed operator training curriculum with the development of standard operating procedures and operation and maintenance manuals.
Johnny has affiliations with the Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP), Water Environmental Federation (WEF), and Georgia Rural Water Association (GRWA).
Tony Pyle
Environmental Specialist
Tony joined BioConversion, Inc., in July of 2011 with 35 years industrial wastewater experience. He performs wastewater technical research, laboratory testing, and process control, as well as sales and troubleshooting existing accounts.
A degreed and licensed class I wastewater treatment operator with plant start-up and operational recovery experience, and consulting with engineers to provide quality operating systems.
Tony Pyle retired from Gwinnett County Water Resources, specializing in Water and Wastewater Operations and Management, Industrial Pre-Treatment Program Management, Distribution and Collection, Laboratory Services, Fats-Oil-Grease Control, Training, Technical Support, and Customer Service.
Sherri Richardson
Office Manager
Sherri joined BioConversion in January of 2003. She is in charge of orders, purchasing and shipping, and bookkeeping. Sherri also provides customer service and support, helping to maintain our client relationships.
Angela Bray
Executive Assistant
Angela joined BioConversion in February 2011. She helps with the day to day office activities as well as special projects and presentations.
Angela graduated with a BS in ECE from Kennesaw State University.

Technical Partners
Steve Leach
Steve Leach of Novozymes Biologicals has 22 years of experience in wastewater biology and lends his expertise as a technical partner for BioConversion, Inc.
Steve specializes in microscopic analysis, filament identification, system evaluation of various types of wastewater treatment and wastestreams. He provides technical service and onsite microscopic training, and serves as an instructor of a certified nitrification course in Florida, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
Steve holds a BS in biology from Catawba College and an MS in microbiology from Penn State University, and is a member of TAPPI, WEF, AWWA, and the Society of Protistologists.
John Harrelson
John Harrelson is a boiler, cooling, and odor control specialist with over 23 years of experience in industrial and municipal water treatment. He currently owns and operates AJ Chemical, specializing in boiler, cooling, wastewater, and municipal applications.
Previously, John spent 17 years with Betz-GE Water in management and technical service positions.
John has been a speaker at many wastewater conferences throughout the United States, particularly on odor control safety and prevention.
Jon Henderson
Jon joined BioConversion, Inc. in 2006 and now has over 23 years industrial wastewater experience. With a degree from the University West Georgia, he is a Certified Environmental Trainer by Georgia State Board of Water/Wastewater Training and Re-Certification/Continuing Education Providers. Jon is a licensed class I wastewater treatment plant operator for municipal water and wastewater systems in the state of Georgia.
He now puts his knowledge and experience to use for BioConversion Technology preparing detailed microscopic reports using state-of-the-art respirometers, microscopes and other related equipment and photo optical equipment. He also consults with various systems on chemical conditioning using a variety of combinations of polymers, nutrients, pH adjustment and biological blends for improved system operation and efficiency.
